About Us

The Rish Project is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome crisis and rebuild their lives. We believe every person deserves safety, stability, and the chance to thrive.

Rooted In Community

We are a Texas nonprofit organization founded in 2018 to strengthen vulnerable communities with practical, compassionate support. We started by responding to urgent local needs in homelessness, teen pregnancy, and substance abuse, guided by years of experience in outreach, case management, and program development. Step by step, we built a community hub where people in crisis find safe shelter, trusted guidance, and a real chance to move toward stability, health, and opportunity.

Guided By Values

Our work is anchored in dignity, respect, and accountability. We meet each person without judgment, recognize the full story behind every crisis, and focus on long-term stability rather than short-term fixes. Housing, pregnancy support, recovery services, and social service navigation are integrated so that no one has to manage complex systems alone. These values shape every program decision, every partnership, and every dollar entrusted to us as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3).

What Sets Us Apart

The Rish Project Inc. brings multiple services under one mission-driven umbrella, pairing transitional supportive housing with intensive case management, youth-focused pregnancy support, and recovery programs that address addiction and related challenges together. Clients work with case managers who coordinate food assistance, employment support, healthcare, and mental health referrals, reducing barriers and confusion. For donors and partners, this integrated model means each contribution strengthens a coordinated safety net that moves people between crisis and independence.
